The fifth annual Clermont County
Junior Police Academy, sponsored in part by the
Loveland Police Division, is nearly here, but this year
things will run a little differently from years past.
The program provides four weeklong camps where children
aged 13-17 interact with law enforcement and are taught
basic law enforcement skills.
The camp dates are set June 16th
& June 23rd at New Hope Baptist Church in
Loveland, and July 7th at New Richmond High
School. The camp runs from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday
through Friday.
More than 30 officers from 17
police agencies team up for the summer camp series,
sponsored by Goshen Township, Loveland, and New Richmond
Police Departments, with help from the Boys and Girls
Club of New Richmond, and the County Sheriff's office.
